Interesting subject for friendship. I think that these could be even stronger if you showed that interaction between dog a human... maybe playing together and getting some stopped action shots of that fun, friendly interaction. I do like the bottom one, its like the dog is asking, "are you going to play or what?"
I agree with James- while a ball is a dog's favorite toy it doesn't beat the relationship between a puppy and a human. It would have helped if it was more in action as well =)
i agree with the above--a relationship is between two, so find the other half, you know? regardless, i enjoy how fun these photos are. they definitely portray a dog just livin' the dog dream!
I think you captured a very interesting view of what friendship might be. For this dog, who is to say the ball isn't his best friend? Friendship with inanimate objects are totally possible
